You did not convince me that El Sayed cannot win. I am one of the angry Dems who believe the Dem congressional leadership are out of touch. And many of us do think that Israel committed genocide. I care about that. Some scholars in Israel agree. I also care about new perspectives and some passion in Dem candidates. I care about supporting Ukraine and acknowledging that Putin will do everything to interfere with our elections. And we need leaders who will embrace a big tent. I am not alone. A question for you: What can progressives do to win, by creating a bigger tent and learn to actually listen!
I find it interesting that you call out various Republican Senators for not standing up to Trump and most likely voting to confirm Todd Blanche while you and Liz Smith cannot call out Israel for committing genocide in Gaza and Lebanon. As a journalist, aren’t you appalled by Israel deliberately targeting journalists? As a mom, are you appalled by the sheer number of children who have been killed?
It takes two signatures to change or cancel a contract. tRump never signed it. Only one of the documents even had Blanche's signature. Maybe a court can nullify it.
The two senators both want to become well paid lobbyists after leaving the Senate. tRump can make that a zero-income blocked path. Such a career is worth millions.
tRump has serious leverage even over those he primaried out of the Senate.
