I wish I could have watched this live. Charlie Sykes should have spent more time learning about Francesca Hong. I attended a forum with her and the others in the WI primary for governor. She also came to Platteville, WI, where I live and spoke. Much of Mr. Sykes criticism was right out of the MAGA culture war playbook. I’m 70 and a lifelong democrat. I voted for Francesca Hong because she had strong support among young voters. I saw what happened here in 2024 when young voters felt ignored. Many didn’t vote. I wanted to support the candidate inspiring young voters because it’s their future we’re talking about. It’s time for older voters like myself to move away from the status quo and support candidates who gets young adults out to vote. Skyes failed to mention how close the race was between Hong, 39.33% to Crowley’s 39.81%. My concern is young voters will feel disenfranchised again and stay home in November, resulting in a win for Tom Tiffany, Trump sycophant.

My friend’s daughter took her life months after her son was born. She had been seeking help from her health providers. She was over looked. Andrea Kolbe ‘s family have diligently worked with Maryland’s legislators to pass bills to improve woman’s mental health concerns during pregnancy and postpartum.
#Andrea’s Wish Foundation is working to improve maternal mental health services and outcomes. She was a beautiful woman who loved her baby.
I am curious as to the reason the vaccinations have be given to a certain percentage of the population to reach herd immunity. I read recently that during the COVID pandemic the U.S. reached a vaccination level of 66% primarily due to the MAGA anti-vax reaction to COVID vaccine, even though President Trump was credited with its Operation Warp Speed development, and that number was not sufficient to reach herd immunity which required 85% - I think.
